Check It Out #8 (28/10/15)

1. Low - Lauren Aquilina
'Low' is the latest track from singer-songwriter, Lauren Aquilina, taken from her most recent EP 'Ocean'. This is my favourite out of the two recently released tracks and it is just teasing her debut album even more... 'Low' was premiered on BBC Radio 1 a few weeks ago, and received support from listeners. Now Lauren's released the music video... Enjoy!

2. Hello - Adele

ADELE IS BACK! 'Hello' is her first release since 'Skyfall', three years ago. The music video on YouTube is being played one million times an hour... It was only released 6 days ago and it's had over 100 million views! The song is a power ballad, with influences of soul and chamber pop and pretty much everyone is loving it. (I may have listened to it at least 50 times already...)

3. Hollow - Tori Kelly

Having just released her debut studio album, American singer/songwriter, Tori Kelly, has released another new track. Listening to this track, as well as the others Tori's released, I found it really refreshing to hear her staying true to who she is and what she stands for etc. Plus it's a really great track!

4. Can't Feel My Face - Walk Off The Earth ft. Scott Helman

Walk Off The Earth recently did it again! (Made a fantastic cover including wonderful instruments and harmonies). This cover of The Weeknd's hit song 'Can't Feel My Face' features Canadian singer/songwriter Scott Helman and includes them playing a newly invented instrument called The Harpejji.

5. Got You Well - Gabrielle Papillon
Gabrielle Papillon is a Canadian artist and this is the first track from her latest album, 'The Tempest Of Old', which is her fifth album. She's recently done a string of dates in London and I'm sure there'll be more live dates soon... If you like Regina Spektor, I'm pretty sure you'll love this track from Gabrielle...
